R2 developed the PTSensor to perform the reading and recording of pressure and temperature data in real time during oil well drilling operations. Its design and metal casing are designed to aid movement during testing and also to withstand downhole pressures.

It also has sensors and modules that work together and are capable of transmitting all well data remotely to a data storage unit so that they can be interpreted by the “Losstrac” software (page link) and help reduce the decision-making time in oil well drilling operations.
